Upcycled Burlap Home Décor

Home décor is personal. It helps a person express him or herself through the things they surround themselves with. Color, texture, and even the product lifecycle all tell a story.

Java Jayne home décor items extend the lifecycle of burlap coffee sacks and furniture. We reuse burlap coffee sacks, combine them with upcycled materials and furniture to make new products that look great.

Burlap Pillows and Pillow Covers:

A burlap pillow may not sound very comfortable, but when it’s combined with luxurious velvet, it becomes a clear choice for a rustic or shabby chic success.

Our decorative pillows are sized to fit standard sized pillow forms, allowing you to use them all year long, or as pillow covers for easy seasonal changes to your home décor.

Burlap Firewood Log Totes:

Burlap firewood log totes make it easy to bring-in firewood for an occasional night by the fireplace or even for a whole winter’s worth of wood stove fuel.

It is approximately 9” wide by 35” long with 2” wide handles. The front retains the original coffee grower’s logo.  The top and bottom of the upcycled tote has solid oak dowels sewn in to help the bag retain its shape while carrying heavy loads of firewood. The reinforced burlap handles (20” long) are rolled and stitched for comfort even for smaller, more petite grips. The sides are the original woven fabric edges of the burlap coffee sack. The back is plain.

Accent Furniture Featuring Burlap:

Reused burlap from coffee sacks makes a great addition to accent furniture.  It can add a casual feel to a classic décor, a funky urban vibe to a loft, or even an eco-friendly addition to other ‘green’ design.

Java Jayne accent furniture is all unique. No two pieces are the same. Each is an opportunistic piece, meaning when we see something that needs to be reused, repurposed, or reupholstered we snag it, and make it into something that will have a whole new life.
